On Sunday 29th March, heartless thieves broke into The Myton Hospices Coventry base and stole a white Ford transit van, and ransacked the premises, in the third break in in just 15 months.
Kenilworth based Sure-Track (part of Radius Telematics), recovered the stolen van on Wednesday 1st April in Coventry, and reunited it with the owners of The Myton Hospices.
The van was fitted with Sure-Track's Thatcham approved Wireless Theft Recovery Tracker which allowed our nationwide finder network to accurately track the movements and whereabouts of the stolen vehicle.
CEO for The Myton Hospices, Ruth Freeman, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Sure-Track for not only donating tracking devices to us after a previous break-in at our distribution centre, but for successfully recovering our stolen van. Their generosity and support means so much and we can’t thank them enough!”
The Wireless Theft Recovery Tracker provides extra peace of mind in regards to theft. This small wireless device features movement and tamper alarms, 3 year battery life and a nationwide recovery network to ensure that should a vehicle be stolen it is recovered quickly and efficiently, thus minimising business disruption.
Throughout these unprecedented times, Sure-Track's nationwide finder network is fully operational and on stand-by to recover stolen vehicles and plant machinery, due to the essential nature of their work.
