According to the National Rural Crime Network, 51% of rural businesses are fearful of becoming victims of crime. As part of our commitment to tackling rural crime head on, and helping businesses and individuals in rural areas sleep sound, knowing their tools and vehicles are safe, Sure Track works with a range of agricultural and farming businesses.

Theft Recovery at its best!

We've had a busy start to the year with a number of exciting new contract wins, and a whole host of vehicle recoveries from both the Plant and Leisure industry, totalling upwards of £45,000 in value.

Take a look at a few of the highlights below of some of our latest theft recoveries.

15th January 2016

A straightforward recovery for our highly skilled finder network. Thwaites mini 1 tonne dumper recovered in Staffordshire for a nationwide plant hire and manufacturing company.

2nd February 2016

After being alerted by a national plant hire company on the theft of a Hamm HD13 Roller, Sure Tracks intelligence quickly discovered the vehicles location in Huddersfield. Another textbook recovery!

22nd February 2016

Now this was a difficult find! One of our demolition customers had a 40 yard skip stolen. We picked up signals pointing towards a scrap merchants in Lancashire. The police were called but as we entered the property the signal completely disappeared! We can only assume it was hidden underground or put into a completely sealed steel container. Sure Track put the unit onto our emergency watch setting and 2 weeks later it came back into alarm (just down the road from the original location) and were able to recover this 40 yard skip for our very happy customer!

There's no better feeling than reuniting a Sure Track customer with their pride and joy. And this find was just perfect! After a worried local caravan enthusiast alerted us on the theft of their Elddis Affinity Caravan, we quickly sent our team to the rescue. Resulting in a quick recovery in Leicester, not far from the Sure Track headquarters!

What did all of these vehicles have in common? They were fitted with a Sure Track MT3 tracking device! This is a small wireless device that combines GSM/GPRS monitoring with close range Radio Frequency. Our customers subscribe to a service that includes the use of highly trained finders who respond to the theft, locate the missing item and then liaise with police to ensure safe and legal recovery.
